Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us when you add Tempo to a Discord server. Short, and in plain language.

By adding Tempo to a Discord server, or by using its commands, you agree to these terms. If you are adding it on behalf of a league, you confirm you are permitted to do so on that server.
What Tempo is
Tempo is a Discord bot that automates league administration — teams, drafts, a points economy, upgrade approvals and league communication. It is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc., Electronic Arts, or Take-Two Interactive. Game names and team names are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe what the leagues our users run are about.
Your responsibilities
- Follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. They apply to everything you do with Tempo.
- Do not use Tempo to harass anyone, to distribute illegal content, or to run gambling with real money or anything of real-world value. Tempo's points are an in-league scoring mechanic and nothing else.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the bot or its infrastructure.
- You are responsible for what your league's members and commissioners write into Tempo — team names, rules, welcome messages and the rest.
Availability
Tempo is provided as-is and as-available. We will try to keep it running, but we do not promise uptime, and features may change, be renamed or be withdrawn. We may impose reasonable limits to keep the service stable for everyone.
Paid plans
- Tempo Football is a paid subscription: $24.99 per year, per server. One subscription covers that Discord server and everyone in it; individual members are never charged. A second league in a second server needs its own subscription.
- You start a subscription by running /activate in your server. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or handle your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Stripe's billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If a subscription lapses, Tempo's commands stop working in that server. Your league's data is not deleted, and resubscribing restores access to it.
- We do not offer refunds for partial periods, except where consumer law in your jurisdiction requires one.
- Prices can change. Changes only take effect on renewal, and we will tell you before that happens.
Your data
Handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: Discord IDs and the text your league types in, never message content or usernames.
Termination
You can stop at any time by removing Tempo from your server. We may suspend or remove access to any server that breaks these terms or that puts the service at risk, and we will explain why where we reasonably can. Removing the bot does not by itself delete your league's data — see the Privacy Policy for how to have it erased.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Tempo is provided without warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Tempo runs a video-game league; please keep any dispute in proportion to that.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the support server, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use Tempo after that means you accept the new version.
